The Lion is Here-March

It's early Monday morning and I am sitting here wondering what to blog about for this week. I seem to be someone that likes to write on the fly instead of planning out what to write. Sometimes, I feel like I need a teacher to give me an assignment to write about but after all, I had wanted my own domain to not have other distractions or influences while I write. I guess I was successful on that front as I sit here wondering what to blog about this week! 😂

As I sit here and write on this -16 degree morning, I am longing for warmer days and going back to work. I look forward to the colors of spring to chase away the winter blues. Well, I don't really have the winter blues but we have had many below zero days lately so I have been keeping busy being creative. I know that once the weather gets nicer I will be outside more and not being doing as much art and focusing on my photography more.

So here we are in March already, just 18 days from calendar spring. I say calendar spring because...Adirondacks! 😂 We have quite a bit of snow and more snow on the way this week followed by rain and most likely a big wet mess by the end of the week. That will make for quite a mud season this year when all of this snow melts but then that mud will give way to new plants, new life, new hope! I am also looking forward to all of the pet sitting that we have ahead and future pet pics to take! From March 14th until April 12th we have but two days that we will not be pet sitting so that will be good to help us keep busy and pass the time for the rest of our hibernation.

I do have a couple ideas for future blogs that I need to research and gather data which I will be working on this week. I bought a new (my 1st) Leuchtturm1917 (pronounce loy-sterm) bullet journal. Leuchtturm means lighthouse in German and I think that is fitting for a journal, a lighthouse of ideas. I want to get back into handwriting journaling again, to coincide with my digital journaling. I always was a fan of the Moleskine line but at the rate that I can write, they cost me a pretty penny-a box of about 30 Moleskine pretty penny! The Leuchtturm is a bit less expensive so I thought I would try one out and bought one from my local book store last week. I like that it's a bullet journal, it has table of contents pages and the pages are numbered. I don't like that my new Ooly fountain pens leave horrible ghosting so I plan to get a new bujo (short for bullet journal) from Leuchtturm that has 120 gsm paper.

On that note, the sun is starting to beam it's bright cheery beams and I'm off to go brainstorm. I hope your week is full of creativity and many blessings. I am going to leave you with this, a picture of my many Moleskines (I call them Molies for short) that I have written in the past. Will I end up amassing a collection of Leuchtturm1917 bujos...stay tuned! 😂

P.S. -I am not a notebook hoarder, I am a writer! 😂
